Moxi Laser Skin Resurfacing

We are so proud to announce the arrival of Sciton Moxi to Khan Eyelid & Facial Aesthetics! Laser skin resurfacing perfectly complements our existing non-invasive and surgical methods for eye and face rejuvenation. It is an excellent stand-alone treatment that revitalizes the skin and soft tissues, and it can be incorporated in to our eyelid surgeries to further enhance the appearance of the skin. 

All age groups can benefit from Moxi. We recommend a “pre-juvenation” regimen for our younger patients to keep their skin looking refreshed, and we can dial up the intensity of treatments to target more specific concerns as the skin changes over time. During your consultation, we will design a customized plan to focus on your individual skin concerns and achieve the best possible results.

Moxi is a non-ablative laser that addresses multiple skin concerns affecting most people, such as:

Downtime from a Moxi treatment is minimal. Because the energy reaches mainly the epidermis (outermost layer of the skin), the recovery lasts approximately 4-6 days. While you are healing, we recommend minimal sun exposure (no beach trips) and sun protection at all times. You can moisturize as needed for dry areas. 

During this period, you may feel “sandpaper-like” texture on treated skin that is actually the microscopic epidermal necrotic debris (MENDs) coming up to the surface. These MENDs will gently slough away, revealing radiant, glowing skin within a week’s time.

Ideally, we recommend a series of 3-4 consecutive treatments for maximal benefit, but you will see notable improvement from just even one session. We are offering both single treatments as well as packages to suit your preference.
